Chivo Black by Hector Gatti of Omnibus-Type is a free heavy sans serif with an assertive, compact silhouette. Its broad strokes and tight joins make the letters feel dense and firmly planted. Curves stay blunt and controlled.

On posters, the weight creates forceful event titles, and the clean shapes also suit sports merchandise and music graphics. Those uses share a need for lettering that reads as solid, direct, and contemporary rather than ornamental.
