Subway Ticker

Subway Ticker, Keith Bates's free digital display font, channels the blunt rhythm of a subway information board. The letters are built from stacked square modules, creating a tall, ticking texture that feels straight off early electronic transit signage rather than a slick screen interface.

Subway Ticker is based on an electronic display seen on a New York subway train in February 2005. Also included is an updated 'Grid' variation that is slightly more spaced out and uses a more precise grid structure.
