CRU-Kanda-Bold V.2, credited to Prachid Tinnabutr and WittyComputer, is a free comic display font with lanky, irregular lettering. Tall capitals, compact lowercase forms, and abrupt wedge-like serifs give the line a lively cut-paper quality. Stroke widths shift noticeably, lending each letter a slightly improvised shape.

Comedy posters are its clearest setting, especially when the type needs a theatrical, offbeat voice. The same uneven forms suit children's book covers, party invitations, and playful food packaging. Its strongest role is a comic title with a deliberately odd, theatrical voice.
