VE Vastagurly Display by M. Fairuzulhaq, also known as Vast, is a free ultra-condensed sans serif with a tall, dramatic profile. Its alternating broad and hairline-thin strokes produce a striking vertical cadence, and the rounded shoulders and deep arches soften forms that might otherwise seem severe.
To create a theatrical title or fashion wordmark, the lettering offers the scale of a poster image in very little horizontal room and also suits album covers and event graphics. Its elongated forms and swelling curves are especially apt for cabaret, nightlife, and avant-garde music themes, where typography can become part of the stage or performance imagery.
