Thorup Sans Small Caps by Dan Thorup is a free condensed sans serif with exceptionally tall, slender letters and an almost monoline weight. Rounded arches soften the strict vertical build and keep its close-set silhouette crisp and architectural.
Posters are an especially good medium for these elongated forms, which lend cultural events and fashion campaigns a lean, contemporary title treatment. The same precise profile suits refined packaging and magazine covers, where the small-cap structure can establish an understated editorial identity in place of conventional headline capitals.
