Single Sleeve Font

Single Sleeve, designed in 2014 by Vic Fieger, is a free condensed comic display font with towering, hand-drawn capitals. The strokes are thick and slightly uneven, and the narrow letters press forward with an energetic poster feel. Curved forms bulge against straighter sides.

It is especially convincing in music posters, where its tall silhouette can turn a headline into part of the artwork. For magazine covers, event programs, and entertainment publishing, the squeezed proportions lend cover lines a brash, offbeat voice and can echo the vertical pull of cropped portrait photography or bold illustration.
