SF Florencesans SC Shaded Italic by Derek Vogelpohl of ShyFoundry is a free outlined italic display font with a brisk, athletic slant. The open letterforms are edged by clean dark contours and a firm offset shadow, producing a layered sign-painted effect. Wide curves and clipped diagonal ends keep the caps sturdy yet fast-moving.

Motor racing and team sports are its clearest territory. On posters, event signage, merchandise, and beverage packaging, the forward lean suggests motion, and the shadowed outline can become the main device in an energetic brand identity rather than serving as ordinary text, especially for clubs or independent labels.
