RM Almanack by Ray Meadows of FontStruct is a free high-contrast display serif with a formal, sharply cut appearance. Broad capitals meet fine connecting strokes, and pointed serifs give the letters a distinctly engraved edge. The angular shapes feel especially crisp.
Its classical, inscriptional character suits museum publishing and historical posters, with enough theatricality for book covers as well. For heritage packaging or an upscale stationery brand, the severe points and sweeping curves can become the basis of a recognizable product identity.
