Requiem II by Chris Hansen is a free eroded serif display font with thick-thin strokes and ragged, ink-stained edges. Blotches and chipped contours give the letters a distressed print texture.
Poster design is its clearest setting, especially for horror, gothic, or dark literary events. It also suits book covers, album artwork, and theatrical promotions with an aged, abrasive surface. The uneven damage makes it most convincing when the typography itself should suggest decay or unease.
