Polo-SemiScript Ex, designed by David Rakowski of Fantazia Fonts and Sounds, is a free brush display font with broad, hand-painted forms. Sweeping curves, uneven stroke widths, and tilted shapes give the lettering the lively snap of a quickly painted sign.

The informal brushwork suits both surf-shop branding and children's entertainment, despite their different audiences. It can also lend album covers and event posters a loose, comic edge.
