Musekinin Katakana, created by Charlie of Caramel Syrup, is a free pixel font with blunt, block-built Japanese lettering. Its silhouettes are chunky and irregular, with stepped curves and abrupt corners that recall low-resolution game graphics. Some strokes taper into jagged hooks.

A retro game studio or arcade-themed brand could use it to establish a deliberately rough digital identity.
