Modern Vision by V. Sarela of FontStruct is a free geometric sans serif with a crisp industrial build. Broad capitals and compact lowercase forms share squared curves, blunt joins, and unusually tight interior spaces.
Technology branding is its clearest fit, with the lettering's engineered shapes lending product names a precise hardware character. It also suits music posters and television graphics that favor assertive, contemporary typography. The rounded rectangular forms can echo interface panels and device icons, turning the type into part of the graphic system.

Designer description: <p>Based on a typeface which was used in the opening credits of The Terminator, The Running Man, Class of 1999, and also used on Robert A. Heinlein's book covers (there's a font called Heinlein which is similar). I've been looking for the original for a long time but haven't found it, so I recreated it myself. (Edit: apparently it's called Bessellen)</p>
<p>Now updated to be closer to the original, plus added kerning.</p>
