Memela Fraktur by Luis Fernando Carvente is a free fractured blackletter font built from steep diagonals, dense strokes, and sharply cut medieval forms. Sharp wedges and curled hooks make the lettering feel unruly.
Its jagged, almost creature-like silhouettes can merge directly with fantasy illustration, letting posters, game packaging, and dark music artwork treat the letters as part of the scene rather than a neutral caption. Horror events are another convincing home for these theatrical shapes, since all four settings draw on the same mix of menace, folklore, exaggerated movement, and hand-cut ornament familiar from illustrated fantasy and underground music graphics.
