Marker Fumes Italic, by Krystal Kubiszewski of ShatteredShards Fonts, is a free handwritten marker font with quick, sharply angled strokes. Its thin lines, uneven joins, and strong forward slant resemble lettering dashed off with a felt-tip pen, and the tall forms keep the writing wiry rather than soft.

On album packaging, the restless penwork can echo handwritten track notes and rough indie artwork. It also suits fashion merchandise and event posters aimed at an underground or youthful audience, especially when the lettering is treated as part of the artwork. Music graphics are its most convincing home, particularly for raw indie releases.
