Laser Rod Italic Font

Laser Rod Italic by Neale Davidson is a free techno display font with forceful, forward-leaning capitals, angular cuts, and a tightly packed, towering silhouette. Long lightning-like points give it a fierce speed-metal edge.

Concert posters are its strongest setting, especially for hard rock, metal, or electronic acts. The same aggressive angles suit gaming graphics, sports merchandise, and action-oriented event branding. In magazine design, it can turn a feature opener or cover line into part of the subject's striking high-voltage imagery.

This font is based on the “Laser Cycle” and “Laser Rod” parts of Hasbro’s Generation Two toyline. It includes the full alphabet, numerals, extended characters, and the euro symbol. The left and right brackets have been replaced with the Autobot and Decepticon insignia, respectively.

An italic version is also included.
