K22 Angular Text is a free modern Gothic display font based on Herman Ihlenburg's 1884 design for MacKellar, Smiths & Jordan. Its towering, narrow letters combine severe verticals with needle-fine diagonals, curled feet, and sweeping ornamental strokes.
A heritage-minded brand could use it for logos, packaging, and venue signage. The unusual letter shapes also suit historical publishing and music posters, where the lettering can act as an emblem. Its audience is designers seeking a dramatic nineteenth-century voice with an eccentric edge.
