Gemcut Italic, designed by Neale Davidson, is a free modern Gothic display font with a sharply slanted stance. Its narrow letters combine broad strokes, knife-point joins, and abrupt geometric cuts. Small diamond-shaped notches give the face its signature detail.
Heavy-metal album artwork is its strongest setting, with aggressive angles that suit band names, tour posters, and merchandise. The gem-like notches also fit fantasy game branding and theatrical event graphics, where the lettering can become part of a faceted stone emblem.

This is my first completed font. It includes a full alphabet, extended punctuation, the euro symbol, and an italic version.
