FakeHieroglyphs Font

Fake Hieroglyphs is a free pictorial dingbat font built from spare, hand-drawn symbols that recall ancient Egyptian wall carvings. Figures, plants, animals, and zigzags share rounded outlines and an uneven line, resembling illustrated marks rather than ordinary lettering.

Museum-event posters and history-themed games can use these symbols to suggest archaeological imagery, and they also suit puzzle graphics and classroom materials. Their simple contours make the forms readable as icons as well as coded characters. The font is most convincing when its signs become part of a hieroglyph-inspired illustration.
