Engebrechtre Ex Bold Italic by Ray Larabie of Typodermic Fonts Inc. is a free condensed sans serif with a forceful forward slant. Its tall, tightly drawn letters shift between broad vertical strokes and fine joins, producing a sharp silhouette with sweeping curves and clipped details.

It has the pace of racing graphics. That speed-driven styling makes a convincing match for athletic branding, action-film posters, and sports campaigns. Engebrechtre is an early-20th-century stressed sans-serif created in 2000. For this version, the regular weight was retained and the font was redesigned from the beginning. It has new spacing, new kerning, and improved horizontal precision for web use. The S was redesigned, accents were updated, and support for additional languages was added. The italics use round dots rather than slanted dots. Additional mathematical symbols, fractions, numeric ordinals, an @ symbol, and the Indian rupee symbol were added. Vertical metrics were optimized for web performance.

The fonts are provided under a license that allows free commercial use, sometimes referred to as a desktop license. The license permits you to install the fonts on a computer and use them to create output.
