Ekushey Sharifa je bezplatné pätkové písmo starého štýlu s pokojným, literárnym hlasom. Písmená v sebe spájajú veľkorysé krivky s ostrými, jemne sa zužujúcimi ťahmi, čo písmu dodáva klasický knižný rytmus, ktorý pôsobí formálne, no nie strnulo.
Vďaka tomu je prirodzenou voľbou na obálky kníh, kultúrne plagáty, redakčné nadpisy, titulky časopisov a názvy programov, kde musí bezplatné písmo pôsobiť seriózne, nie len módne. Skvele funguje aj pri citátoch a krátkych titulkoch, pretože kontrast a otvorené tvary dodávajú aj krátkym riadkom usporiadaný, takmer učenecký dojem.
