Dovahkiin Font

Dovahkiin by Neale Davidson is a free runic display font with an archaic, carved appearance. Its symbolic alphabet combines tall, blade-like strokes with sharp wedges, hooked cuts, and emphatic diamond marks. The uneven shapes look ceremonial and hand-hewn.

Designers working in fantasy games and related entertainment can use it for interface inscriptions, title cards, and promotional posters. Strong verticals and isolated marks also suit illustrated maps and themed merchandise centered on dark fantasy lore or magical artifacts. Those recurring diamonds and chiseled joints can become part of a fictional crest or relic, connecting the lettering directly to the surrounding illustrated artwork.

Dovahkiin is based on the runic dragon script found in Bethesda Softworks' game The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim. It includes all canonical characters in regular, bold, italic, and bold italic styles.
