DKVentana Font

DK Ventana, designed by David Kerkhoff, is a free handwritten font with tall, restless letters and sharply changing stroke widths. Rounded turns and blunt tips keep the drawing raw and immediate.

Independent music and streetwear audiences are a natural match for its quick, unruly motion, making it useful for gig posters, T-shirt graphics, and packaging with an informal edge. In publishing, the uneven silhouettes can turn magazine covers and feature openers into lettering-led artwork, especially for stories about underground culture, emerging bands, or hands-on creative work, where the irregular forms echo marker sketches and rough illustration rather than neutral display type.
