Decibel Font

Decibel by Jenna Mahaffy is a free distorted outline display font with a nervous, hand-drawn edge. Several slightly misaligned contours trace the tall letters, creating a jittery vibration instead of a clean border. Widths and stroke paths shift noticeably from one letter to the next.

Noise and underground music suit its restless construction. It can turn concert posters and album artwork into something raw and immediate. The same scratched, echoing lines also fit skate merchandise and experimental magazine covers.
