Dayang Senandung, designed by Cenz Qobbal, is a free retro display font with the poised elegance of vintage fashion lettering. Its extremely tall, narrow forms alternate hairline strokes with broad, sweeping curves. The effect is crisp and theatrical.
A fashion magazine cover is its strongest setting, with the elongated proportions also suiting perfume packaging, gallery posters, and event programs. The sharp contrast and spacious shapes can turn a boutique or beauty brand name into a refined period emblem, especially when the identity draws on 1960s editorial style.
