Criminal Upright Font

Criminal Upright, designed by S. Ulrich of incinerator, is a free narrow monoline sans serif with an unusually tall, spare build. Rounded arches and soft curves ease its strict vertical construction.

The stripped-back linework can echo technical diagrams or simple contour illustrations in posters and album covers. It also suits fashion packaging and editorial section openers, especially when a cool, severe voice is wanted. The long upright strokes resemble rails or framing, linking the lettering directly to architectural and technical imagery.
