Coarse Rounded by David Kehrer is a free distorted display font with tall, loosely drawn letters and markedly uneven stroke widths. Rounded ends soften the irregular contours, and slight roughness along several edges keeps the forms from looking mechanically finished.
Casual food, music, and youth culture are its clearest subjects. It suits cafe packaging and children's event graphics. In an illustrated sign, its changing weight makes the lettering part of the drawing.
