Big Fat Black by Brian A. LaPorte is a free heavy pixel font with very broad, squat capitals and an emphatic arcade-screen silhouette. The strokes stay dense and blunt, with unusually small interior openings.
Game graphics are its strongest medium, especially title screens, score panels, and promotional art built around retro hardware references. Its low, wide profile also suits music merchandise and event posters that borrow the hard-edged scale of early digital displays. The design will feel most at home with players and collectors drawn to arcade culture and deliberately oversized lettering.
