AuldMagick Italic Font

AuldMagick Italic by AgaSilva is a free medieval blackletter font with pronounced calligraphic shaping. Broad, swelling strokes taper into hooked points, and the slanted letters carry long flourishes that give the face a dramatic manuscript character.

Fantasy book covers are its strongest setting, especially for stories of sorcery, folklore, or ancient kingdoms. It also suits theatrical posters and role-playing game graphics. The curling entry strokes and blade-like endings can become part of an illustrated magical emblem, linking the lettering directly to heraldry, spellwork, or ornamental borders.

This Gothic font is based on a 19th-century German poetry book written in Fraktur.

On December 10, 2011, Italic, Bold, and Bold Italic styles were added to the package.

On March 8, 2013, the files were generally updated and debugged.
