Addiction is a free scratchy handwritten font with the restless look of hurried pen marks. The letters are narrow and loosely connected, with abrupt angles, uneven stroke widths, and tall looping lines that cross back through the writing. It feels raw and intensely personal.
In publishing, it can bring a confessional edge to magazine features and book covers, particularly for memoir, underground culture, or troubled romance. The recurring loops and slashing cross-strokes also suit music posters and fashion packaging, where the lettering can resemble an artist's scrawl worked directly into the graphic concept.
